Results of NCCIR meeting dated June 30, 2020

In accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Radio Frequency Resource of Ukraine” according to the application of Broadcasting, Radiocommunications & Television Concern the Commission re-issued a license for radio link communication (radio link communication of fixed radio service) in Donetsk Oblast validity of May 17, 2021 in connection with the decrease of radio frequency bands.

NCCIR extended the validity of eight licenses for the use of RFMC of Ukraine to:

  • TEKHNOLOHIYI ONLAYN, PE - for broadband radio access (radio communication in multichannel distribution systems for the transmission and retransmission of TV image, sound transmission, digital information) in Kirovohrad Oblast from December 23,2020 till December 22, 2025;
  • Broadcasting, Radiocommunications & Television Concern  - two licenses for radio link communication (radio link communication of fixed radio service) in Kyiv City, Kyiv Oblast from December 30, 2020 till December 29, 2025; in Khmelnytsk Oblast from December 28, 2020 till December 27, 2025;
  • KYIVSTAR, JSC - two licenses for radio link communication (radio link communication of fixed radio service) in in Donetsk, Odessa, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Khmelnytsk, Chernivtsi Oblasts from October 20, 2020 till October 19, 2035; Ternopil, Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhia Oblasts from October 20, 2020 till October 19, 2035; a license for E-GSM digital mobile radio in Kyiv City and in 24 regions of Ukraine from October 20, 2020 till October 19, 2030; a license for GSM-900 digital mobile radio in Kyiv City and in 23 regions of Ukraine from October 20, 2020 till October 19, 2030;
  • IMK, LLC - for broadband radio access (radio communication in multichannel distribution systems for the transmission and retransmission of TV image, sound transmission, digital information) in Kyiv Oblast from October 20, 2020 till October 19, 2025.

In accordance with the paragraphs 10-12 of the Technical Regulations of Radio Facility and the Regulations on the Procedure and Form of Maintaining the Register of Radio Electronic Facilities and Radiating Circuits that may be applied in the territory of Ukraine in common bands (public radio frequency bands) (the Register of REF* and RC**), the Commission added the information to Section I of the Register of REF and RC about portable radio station, "Fujian Juston Electronic Equipment Co., Ltd", China.

In accordance with Article 26 of the Law of Ukraine “On Radio Frequency Resource of Ukraine”, the Regulations on the Procedure and the Form of Maintaining the Register of REF and RC, upon examination of the applications of А-TECHNOLOGIES, LLC to determination the possibility of using specific types of REF and RC in the territory of Ukraine and based on the results of technical expertise on ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility of the claimed type of REF, the Commission has identified the possible to use of the radar detection station, modеl MRLA-1010-01, production of А-TECHNOLOGIES, LLC (Ukraine).

In accordance with the paragraph 2 of Part 2, Part 4 and Part 9 of Article 45 of the Law of Ukraine “On Radio Frequency Resource of Ukraine”, taking into account the letters of The National Сouncil of Television and Radio Broadcasting about revoke the broadcasting license and Ukrainian State Centre of Radio Frequencies, State Enterprise concerning the permit for operation, NCCIR cancelled a permit for REFs* operation issued of analog television broadcasting to Chernivtsi City TV and Radio Company in connection with the revocation of the broadcasting license.
