Results of NCCIR meeting dated 02 January 2018

According to NCCIR decision, “The Register of Telecommunications Operators and Providers” was supplemented with 14 positions. The Commission issued one license and extended the validity of one license for the use of radio frequency resource of Ukraine. These and the other decisions were adopted during the regular NCCIR meeting on January 02, 2018.

According to the Commission’s decision, five operators and nine providers were added to “The Register of Telecommunications Operators and Providers” on the basis of market participants’ applications.

Moreover, 31 economic entities have informed the Commission of change in the contact details, the type of activity or the territory of activity to make relevant information in “The Register of Telecommunications Operators and Providers”.

In connection with the termination of activities in the telecommunications sector, 10 economic entities were excluded from “The Register of Telecommunications Operators and Providers”.

NCCIR has adopted the decision to issue for LLC “POLTAVAINFOKOM” the license for an additional RF bandwidth for radio link communication of fixed radio service within Poltava Oblast.

The Commission has extended the validity of a license for LLC “REHION - LINK” for the use of radio frequency resource for broadband radio access (a radio data transmission system using noise-shaped signal) in the territory of Kharkiv Oblast.

In connection with the unreliability of the data in the documents submitted by the applicant for obtaining a license:

  • a sole proprietor Sirenko O.M. was refused in issuance of license for an additional RF bandwidth for broadband radio access (a radio data transmission system using noise-shaped signal) in the territory of Kyiv Oblast;
  • LLC “RADIOKONNEKT” was refused in issuance of license for an additional RF bandwidth for broadband radio access (radio communication in multichannel distribution systems for the transmission and retransmission of TV image, sound transmission, digital information) in the territory of Khmelnytskyi and Cherkasy Oblast.

According to the Commission’s decision, 34 new types of facilities were added to “The Register of REFs* and RC**”.

The information about one type of radio facility was changed in “The Register of REFs and RC”.

Upon examination of the applications of LLC “Feniks Kontakt”, LLC “Eksim-Tsentr” and LLC “Tranzas Ukraina” concerning the possibility of applying the particular type of REFs and RC in the territory of Ukraine, and according to the results of technical expertise on issues of electromagnetic compatibility of declared REF type, NCCIR identified as possible the use of three declared types of radio electronic facilities in the territory of Ukraine.
